What is niche marketing, anyway and how is it related to Internet Marketing, if at all?

Well, folks, niche marketing is a huge industry on the Internet. It is made up of many small businesses who have found a profitable alcove, compartment, corner, cranny, cubbyhole, hole, hollow, indentation, nook, opening, pigeonhole, position, recess, slot, etc.

It’s the age-old question, would you like to be a little frog in a big lake or a big frog in a small pond. When you’re a little frog, there’s a lot of competition in a big lake. On the other hand, a big frog in a small pond can dominate that small pond and that is how niche marketing works. Your goal of your niche blog is to become a big frog in that small pond, that cranny where it’s easier to work your way up in the SERPs.

Niche Marketing Size

We need to find a niche market that is just the right size for us to dominate, but not too large. Then we concentrate on dominating that market. Eventually we will be considered an expert and our niche marketing website will be classified as an authority site. That’s when the money should start rolling in.
